The new-born hearing diagnostic tool.

Clementine

Designed in partnership with RISD, MIT, and Sloan

With a single-button interface and no language barriers, Clementine can be used by practically anyone, anywhere. And at a tenth the cost of the most affordable competitor.

If a newborn has an unknown hearing issue, often the problem doesn’t reveal itself until the child begins to have language issues in later development, at a point where it is often too late to fully catch up to the language skills of others.

This is a problem occurring in a large percentage of the world population due to a lack of screening. But it is a problem we can solve.

Using otoacoustic emissions ( OAE’s ), UI without a language barrier, and a casing meant to endure wear and tear, a device was made which could be used universally and take only seconds to diagnose a hearing issue.

All at a price of a tenth of the closest competitor.
